I have stayed at Caprivi Houseboat Safaris several times over the years, and have always had a great experience. I mainly visit the area for work, but have also done a family trip here too. The owners and staff are very helpful and welcoming, and the chalets are full of character, with an open-roof shower and balcony on the river bank. Be sure to take a sundowner boat cruise... This is the ideal spot for anyone who would like to experience camping in Africa but would still like a few home comforts. The chalets have three reed walls and a thatched roof. The front is totally open looking out over the Zambezi River. When the river is high the water actually reaches to under the chalets.
