Waterberry, Marula, Jackalberry, Terminalia, Mahogany and Raintrees amongst it's tree population, provide shade for this paradise for guests and birds alike. The green garden welcomes you and soothes your soul.
The rustic ambience invites you to relax and feel at home and close to nature. From the deck Zambia can be viewed and sometimes a honking hippo or menacing crocodile floats by. Whistling otters are a really special sight and birders hearts will flutter at the paddling presence of an African Finfoot.
Caprivi Houseboat Safaris offers accommodation on the bank of the Zambezi river in the form of chalets, a tented room, a glamping camp and 2 campsites. In addition a unique experience is offered in the form of Camper-boats which take you to explore the Zambezi and Chobe river.

Only if we had more time, we would have loved to hire the houseboat to explore the Mighty Zambezi - however, the cabin right on the river bank made up for missing out on that! We stayed with our family for one night at Caprivi Houseboat Safaris and we absolutely enjoyed our time. The lodge is very rustic and down-to-earth (but very clean) and lovely situated at the Zambezi river with a great view from your bed into the green. Food was excellent. This is the ideal spot for anyone who would like to experience camping in Africa but would still like a few home comforts. The chalets have three reed walls and a thatched roof. The front is totally open looking out over the Zambezi River. When the river is high the water actually reaches to under the chalets.
